Our Mission
STEP DOWN JAN exists to ensure institutions operate with integrity, fairness, and respect for every individual they affect. We seek an independent, impartial review of past decisions and actions by leadership where community confidence has eroded. We fund objective fact-finding, legal analysis, and resources for affected parties — not rumor or vendetta. Our priorities are transparency, due process, and nonpartisan oversight: we push for procedural reforms, publicly accessible findings, and remedial action when warranted. We welcome donors who want to invest in the long game — truth, accountability, and community restoration.
